Hero Calling Financial Accountant Contract Opportunity (South of the River)
Calling all heroes.... we are currently partnering with a well-established organisation based south of the river to recruit an experienced Financial Accountant for an immediate contract requirement.
Operating within a commercial asset-intensive environment the business supports a range of industries including engineering industrial services and equipment-based operations offering a dynamic and hands-on finance setting.
This is a hands-on role supporting a busy finance team during a key period with potential for extension or longer-term opportunities.
Key responsibilities:
- Month-end close including journals accruals and prepayments
- Balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis
- BAS/GST preparation and lodgements
- General ledger maintenance and integrity
- Supporting financial reporting and audit requirements
- Assisting with process improvements and ad hoc finance tasks
About you:
- Proven experience in a Financial Accountant or Senior Accountant role
- Strong month-end and reconciliation experience
- Confident working independently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong Excel skills
- ERP experience (Oracle highly regarded)
Details:
- Location: South of the river (100% on-site)
- Contract rate: $55$60 per hour super
- Permanent equivalent: $110000 $120000 super
- Start date: Immediate
