About the Role
The Managing Partner of a globally active IP law firm is seeking a highly capable Chief of Staff to serve as his right hand. This role will operate as a hybrid between Executive Assistant Operations Coordinator and Internal Integrator.
The Chief of Staff will report directly to the Managing Partner and have authority to drive execution across teams. This is not a task-taker role this is an operator who ensures priorities move forward and nothing falls through the cracks.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the Managing Partners direct strategic support
Drive cross-team follow-through on key initiatives
Coordinate complex international travel and conference logistics
Manage pre-conference outreach and meeting setup
Oversee executive scheduling and client-facing coordination
Improve internal organization and workflow systems
Support special projects and operational initiatives
Ensure accountability across team members when directed by the Managing Partner
Ideal Candidate Profile
5 years supporting senior executives or founders
Experience operating as a Chief of Staff Senior EA or Operations Lead
Strong executive presence and confident communicator
Native or near-native English fluency
Highly computer savvy and systems-oriented
Organized assertive and able to drive execution across stakeholders
Culturally aligned and comfortable interacting with high-level global clients
What A-Level Looks Like
The Managing Partner currently has support but is seeking an upgrade someone proactive sharp and capable of operating at a higher strategic level.
Success in this role means:
The Managing Partner spends more time on high-value strategic work
Travel and conferences are flawlessly executed
Team members follow through because the Chief of Staff ensures they do
