The full time Occupational Therapist in our acute therapy at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles California will assist in evaluating and treats patients in accordance with the prescription of the physician. Provides patient care consistent with Scope of Practice Standards and Code of Ethics. Provides care while maintaining safety of the environment utilizing appropriate communication with sensitivity and attention to special populations including patients with diverse cultural backgrounds age developmental issues and physical disabilities.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelors Degree Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program is required.
Masters Degree Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program is preferred.
Doctorate Degree Completion of formal occupational therapy education is preferred.
License required:
Valid and current license as an OT in the state of California
Valid and current CPR certification: American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS)
Experience required:
Experience in acute care is required; at least one year preferred.
Physical demands:
Able to push pull lift up to 100 lbs on an intermittent basis; able to bendstoop sit stand and walk without restrictions.
