Job Objective:
As the Media Account Manager your primary focus will be to negotiate high-value media deals and expand our network of media partners. You will work closely with our sales and operations teams to ensure seamless execution of media campaigns ensuring clients marketing budgets are amplified by up to 700%. This role demands someone who is not only a master negotiator but also an exceptional collaborator who can turn strategic thinking into successful outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Negotiate and Secure Media Deals: Lead negotiations with media partners to secure high-value advertising space optimizing deals for both Green Media and our clients.
Develop Strategic Media Plans: Create tailored media strategies that deliver outstanding ROI for clients leveraging Green Medias unique barter model.
Onboard New Media Partners: Research and onboard a minimum of 10 new media partners each quarter identifying strategic opportunities to expand our media network.
Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with internal teams including sales operations and client management to ensure a seamless media campaign execution process.
Maintain Long-Term Relationships: Build and nurture relationships with media partners ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and ongoing success.
Ensure Timely Campaign Execution: Oversee the timely delivery of all media campaigns ensuring campaigns run smoothly and are delivered as per agreed timelines.
Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on media campaign performance ensuring that all deals deliver on agreed KPIs and client expectations.

Strategic Partnership Expansion: Onboard at least 10 new high-value media partners each quarter.

Client & Partner Satisfaction: Achieve 90% satisfaction from clients and media partners measured through quarterly surveys.

Qualifications & Experience:
Experience: Minimum of 7 years in high-level media negotiation planning or strategic roles within the media or advertising industry.
Track Record: Proven success in consistently exceeding multi-million Rand negotiation or sales targets.
Negotiation Excellence: A portfolio of successful high-value deals that you have structured and closed.
Industry Knowledge: Deep expertise across TV radio OOH digital and print media platforms with a strong network in the South African media landscape.
