The Technical Field Advisor in Indonesia will travel to various mine sites to provide hands-on technical support including maintenance of GEHO pumps and related equipment. The role also involves managing on-site stock reporting equipment and inventory status and building strong customer relationships through technical expertise. A key focus is supporting aftermarket business and ensuring operational reliability at customer sites.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational

• To perform maintenance on GEHO pumps and associated equipment at customers site and providing detailed reports of activities conducted

• Flexibility with working hours based on customer requirements

People

• Working with various internal stakeholders across the business National and Global

• Developing and maintaining customer relationships

Compliance & Accreditation

• Comply with Weir and Customer policies and procedures

• Maintain accreditation for required licenses to perform the role

Requirements:

• Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience as a fitter/mechanic. Prior experience in maintaining mining equipment is an advantage.

• Languages: Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English and Mandarin; Mandarin is a plus.

• Technical Skills: Ability to interpret technical standards and produce detailed reports. Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel; experience with ERP/MRP systems like SAP is desirable.

• Physical & Work Environment: Willingness to work at remote mine sites for extended periods (up to 3 weeks) including 12-hour shifts in hot humid and dusty conditions. Manual handling and use of heavy tools .

• Certifications: Relevant technical certifications from previous roles are a plus.
