Secondary Administration Assistant

With campuses in Wantirna South and Narre Warren South Waverley Christian College has an enrolment of over 2400 students with 400 staff across both campuses in 2026.

Our Wantirna South Campus is seeking a dynamic Administration Assistant (part-time FTE 0.4) to join our Secondary School team. Youll play an integral role in contributing to the efficient operations of our Secondary School ensuring smooth day-to-day functioning while also proactively supporting our teaching staff with hands-on practical tasks.

The successful candidate will coordinate key systems such as stationery supplies staff learning administration student services and photocopying room management. They will also play a key role in supporting school events excursions and communications. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with the PA to the Head of Secondary teaching staff and administrative colleagues making it ideal for someone who is adaptable and thrives in a collaborative environment.

You are an ideal candidate if you:

• Bring strong administrative experience and are proficient in Microsoft Office 365 including Word Excel PowerPoint and Outlook
• Are highly organised with excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
• Communicate clearly and professionally with strong interpersonal skills to support a wide range of stakeholders
• Are hands-on and responsive offering practical support to staff with event coordination catering resource preparation and maintaining shared spaces like the photocopying room
• Demonstrate initiative and confidence in managing multiple tasks and systems independently
• Enjoy working in a team environment
• Are able to show a commitment to the values and ethos of Christian education
• Are willing to get involved in all aspects of the Colleges programs and opportunities
