Job Description:
A Manager of Land Acquisition Liaisonoversees identifying negotiating and acquiring land for projects acting as the key link between landowners government agencies (revenue forest etc.) and internal teams ensuring legal compliance managing due diligence securing permits (NOC CC) and facilitating smooth property transfers through strong negotiation and stakeholder management. This role involves developing acquisition strategies conducting site surveys handling documentation and resolving issues for projects in sectors like real estate or renewable energy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategy & Planning:Develop land acquisition plans identify suitable sites and conduct feasibility studies.
- Liaison & Stakeholder Management:Build and maintain relationships with landowners government officials (revenue town planning forest) and local communities.
- Negotiation:Lead negotiations with landowners to secure land at fair prices and terms.
- Due Diligence & Legal:Oversee title searches legal documentation encumbrance certificates and ensure clear marketable land titles.
- Compliance & Approvals:Obtain necessary clearances permits (like NOCs CC) and approvals from various government departments.
- Documentation:Manage land records purchase agreements and other essential documents.
- Coordination:Work closely with legal finance and project management teams for seamless execution.
- Reporting:Prepare reports for senior management on progress risks and opportunities.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience in land acquisition real estate or infrastructure development.
- Strong knowledge of local land laws regulations and zoning.
- Excellent negotiation communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage diverse stakeholders and resolve conflicts.
- Analytical skills for market assessment and risk evaluation.
- Bachelors degree in Law Business or a related field is often required.
