Education and Experience Required:

Bachelors degree in nursing and seven (7) years of RN experience including four (4) years of leadership experience.

Certifications Licenses or Registration Required:

Valid RN license.

Preferred Qualifications:

Masters degree in nursing and RN experience in ICU ER or Periop.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations of all perioperative areas to ensure safe timely efficient patient flow.
• Optimize OR utilization block scheduling case throughput and resource allocation.
• Ensure timely coordination between surgery anesthesia nursing SPD and ancillary departments.
• Maintain rigorous standards of patient safety infection control and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with medical directors and clinical leaders to implement evidence-based practices and quality improvement initiatives.
• Monitor and improve key performance indicators such as SSI rates on-time starts turnover times cancellations and adverse events.
• Build strong collaborative relationships with surgeons anesthesiologists and procedural leaders to ensure service line success.
• Ensure compliance with local state and federal regulations and accreditation requirements.
• Oversee development of policies and procedures aligned with best practices and regulatory standards.
