About the role
We are seeking a teaching intensive Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Indigenous Health to work closely with the Academic Lead: Indigenous Health in delivering the Indigenous Health components of the UOW Doctor of Medicine (MD) program. You will contribute to curriculum design teaching and assessment and the day-to-day delivery of learning activities ensuring alignment with Australian Medical Council (AMC) Standards and Graduate Outcomes. The position also supports Indigenous Health related KPIs and Core Requirements under the Rural Health Multidisciplinary Training (RHMT) and Increasing Rural Medical Training (IRMT) funding agreements.
You will also have the opportunity to contribute to Indigenous-led community-informed research through the Ngarruwan Ngadju First Nations Health and Wellbeing Research Centre which involves working across Graduate School of Medicine education sites including Wollongong Shoalhaven and the Southern Highlands as well as hospital general practice and community settings.
