Requirements

Proven engineering depth: Youre an experienced polyglot developer with 5 years of demonstrated experience whether through open-source contributions or real-world production systems with a track record of building things that matter.
Production focused: Youve designed built and deployed systems that run in production and understand what it takes to keep them reliable and scalable.
Committed to sustainable high-quality development: You care about design excellence and back it up with robust testing practices leveraging modern automation tools and methodologies to keep quality high and code maintainable.
Systems designer: Experience with distributed systems blockchains security protocols or cryptography is a plus.
Technical experience: You hold a Masters or PhD in computer science (or related field); or bring equivalent experience that demonstrates deep technical skill and curiosity.
Functional mindset: Experience with functional programming is nice to have but what matters most is clean thoughtful and expressive code.
Strong communicator: You can explain complex ideas clearly - in code in writing and in conversation. Experience writing technical documentation is a bonus.
Financial prowess: Familiarity with financial markets or related systems is a bonus but not required - we value an eagerness to learn just as much as prior domain knowledge.
Hybrid role based in Switzerland the UK Hungary or Hong Kong.
