Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth were looking to add a Reliability Engineer located in Littleton MA.
Reporting to the Product Manager the Reliability Engineer willinfluence design choicesdesign andmaintainreliabilityevaluation tools to maximize product reliability andleadDFMEA and PFMEAefforts supportingour coolant distribution units. The position willleadthe identification of reliabilityrelatedtest needs planning and evaluation. Successful candidates will be comfortable taking on tasks as an individual contributor as well as working together with the team as required to meet project deadlines.
What a typical day looks like:
- Lead thedevelopmentof new and the maintenance of existingcoolant distribution unitreliabilitymodels.
- Lead DFMEA and PFMEAactivitiesforJetCoolcoolant distribution units.
- Collaborate withengineering and operations staff toensure all test data isaggregatedand field data istracked foradditionalDFMEA or PFMEAinsights.
- Work with engineering and operations toestablishreliability test plansto support theintroduction ofnew products or product updates.
- Assistinmaintaininga strong bestpracticeculture and drivingadditionalfoundational knowledge and IP.
- Leading failure rootcauseinvestigations.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Participate in design reviews presenting technical findings and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders.
- Support the resolution of technical challenges and issues related tocoolant distribution unitsthroughout the product lifecycle.
The experience were looking to add to our team:
- Bachelor of Sciencedegree in Mechanical Engineeringor related field.
- Minimum of5years of post-collegiate experiencepreferablyworking in hardwareproductreliability in thedata center cooling automotive medical or nuclear industries.
- Excellent communication skills tohelpfacilitatemore complete FMEAs anddistill key reliability findings for internal and external stakeholders.
- Proven experience inNPI process participation and/or leadership.
- Familiarity with data center cooling infrastructure (cooling modules CDUs dry coolers chillers).
- Eperience testing fluid systems
