Position Summary:

We are looking for a Production Supervisor to oversee our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will ensure that their department remains a smooth and efficient process by monitoring employees and organizing workflows. Responsible for coaching resolving issues and serving as a link between subordinates and upper management. Should be able to optimize day-to-day activities while minimizing the costs. Goal is to ensure that production processes deliver products of maximum quality in a profitable manner.
Primary Responsibilities:

Maintains staff by selecting orienting and training employees; developing personal growth opportunities.
Maintains workflow by monitoring steps of the process; setting processing variables; observing control points and equipment; monitoring personnel and resources; studying methods; implementing cost reductions; developing reporting procedures and systems; facilitating corrections to malfunctions within process control points.
Completes production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel; accomplishing work results; establishing priorities; monitoring progress; revising schedules; resolving problems; reporting results of the processing flow on shift production summaries.
Maintains Quality Product by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
Provides manufacturing information by compiling initiating sorting and analyzing production performance records and data; answering questions and responding to requests.
Support to Create and revise systems and procedures by analyzing operating practices record-keeping systems and personnel requirements; implementing change.
Maintains safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all control points equipment and resources; maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.
Resolves personnel problems by analyzing data; investigating issues; identifying solutions; recommending action.
Work additional hours over and above your normal working hours may be required to achieve production targets.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Experience in a manufacturing environment.
Strong attention to detail.
Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated ability to work independently.
Must have excellent leadership skills.
Must be able to motivate and encourage team members.
High School Diploma.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift up to 45 pounds at a time.
Must be able to work at a fast pace.
Must be able to traverse facilities and machinery by lifting walking bending twisting and carrying materials
