Job Summary
RUTLAND CITY PUBLIC SCHOOLSVACANCY - Rutland Middle School Music TeacherRutland City Public Schools seeks an energetic and versatile Music teacher. The successful candidate will join a group of music educators who are active in curriculum development and PLC work. A strong knowledge of standards-based grading and proficiency scales is essential. The teacher will be expected to nurture students understanding and appreciation of music and its role in their lives. Knowledge of different styles and musical repertoires is required. The teacher will present student performances for community events and participate in music festivals and other professional activities. The Rutland Public Schools and the community support and value the arts. We strive to nurture each students interests in and through all areas of the curriculum. Were seeking a candidate who holds (or can obtain) a Vermont 712 teaching license (Masters preferred) and who brings collaborative spirit creativity and enthusiasm for our unique school culture.
