The Opportunity:
Were seeking a Staff Accountant to help support the finance vertical at Grow Therapy. You will own accounting workstreams such as our revenue accounts receivable payroll and AP processes and assist with driving process improvements. Youll be working closely with our Senior Manager of Accounting Senior Accountant and Strategic Finance team.
What Youll Be Doing:
- Own core accounting processes including Revenue and Accounts Receivable Payroll and Accounts Payable ensuring accuracy timeliness and compliance with GAAP.
- Execute and support month-end close activities including preparing and maintaining accurate financial records and general ledger activity to support internal reporting and decision-making.
- Support financial audits and tax compliance and provide necessary documentation and support.
- Partner closely with cross-functional teams to support growth initiatives and ensure accounting processes scale effectively with the business.
- Identify recommend and implement process improvements that increase efficiency and reliability.
Youll Be a Good Fit If:
- You have 3 years of accounting experience in public accounting consulting or high-growth startup environments; prior Big 4 experience is a plus.
- You have a Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field with a solid working knowledge of GAAP.
- Experience with ASC 606 revenue recognition and/or healthcare industry experience is a plus
- You have strong Excel skills and the ability to analyze data accurately and efficiently.
- You have the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
- You have a team-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to take on ad hoc projects as needed.
- CPA track strongly preferred.

Base Compensation:
Hybrid Commitment- $91000 - $102000 USD
This role can behybrid (onsite from our NYC locationthree days per week: Tuesday Wednesday Thursday) orfully remote with ET/CT hours preferred. Arrangements include travel23 times per year (e.g. company and department offsites).
The base compensation for this role will vary depending on several factors including relevant experience qualifications and the candidates working location.
