About the team and role
Our Americas Legal team is a collaborative businessfocused group that partners closely with leaders across Sales Product Privacy and Finance to support GBGs rapidly evolving identity and fraud solutions portfolio. As Associate Corporate Counsel you will play a key role in providing daytoday commercial legal support to our U.S. and regional teams.
Reporting directly to the Head of Legal Americas you will help drive operational excellence by reviewing commercial agreements supporting senior attorneys on more complex matters and helping internal teams navigate legal and compliance considerations. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded attorney who thrives in fastpaced environments and enjoys working crossfunctionally.
What you will do
- Review draft and negotiate commercial and SaaS agreements with customers vendors and partners to support business growth.
- Partner with senior attorneys on complex strategic or highvalue negotiations.
- Conduct legal research prepare written guidance and support internal stakeholders with practical riskaligned advice.
- Assess legal and regulatory risks and translate them into actionable recommendations for business teams.
- Build trusted partnerships with teams across Sales Product Finance Privacy Customer Success and Operations.
- Support new product launches by gathering requirements reviewing documentation and assisting with legal readiness.
- Help maintain and improve internal processes templates and contracting playbooks.
RequirementsSkills we are looking for
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts.
- High attention to detail and excellent organizational capabilities.
- A collaborative businessoriented mindset and eagerness to learn.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced dynamic environment.
- Curiosity about GBGs technology customers and products.
- 24 years of inhouse experience ideally supporting commercial contracting or technology transactions.
- Demonstrated ability to work crossfunctionally and support business teams.
- Basic knowledge of privacy and data protection principles (e.g. GDPR U.S. state privacy laws).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in digital identity fraud prevention cybersecurity or financial services.
- Background working in a SaaS or technology organization.
- Familiarity with U.S. state privacy laws or broader data protection frameworks.
- Experience using or piloting AIenabled legal tools and legal workflow technologies.
