Retirement Plan Consultant / Administrator
Location: Remote (Must live in CA CO FL GA IA MD MI NC NH NJ NY OH PA SC TX or UT)

About the Role
Benetrends Financial is seeking a Retirement Plan Consultant/Administrator to serve as the primary point of contact for a group of existing retirement plan this role youll manage all aspects of 401(k) plan administrationincluding testing Form 5500 preparation plan design support and compliancewhile delivering an exceptional client experience.
You will develop and maintain a strong understanding of retirement plans regulations and Benetrends products to help clients effectively administer and optimize their plans.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform all daily plan administration: contributions loans distributions hardships QDROs
- Conduct nondiscrimination and compliance testing; present correction strategies and future improvement options
- Prepare signatureready Form 5500s and other required government filings
- Research and resolve operational regulatory and compliance issues
- Participate in client meetings and provide clear accessible explanations of plan rules and testing
- Use independent judgment to research complex issues and provide recommendations
- Review and maintain legal plan documents to ensure IRS/DOL compliance
- Collaborate with internal teams clients and vendors to resolve outstanding plan issues
- Educate plan sponsors as needed on their roles and responsibilities
About You
You are an experienced retirement plan professional who can explain complex concepts clearly and build strong client relationships. You thrive in a team environment have excellent communication skills and can prioritize effectively.
Must reside in one of the following states:
CA CO FL GA IA MD MI NC NH NJ NY OH PA SC TX UT.
Qualifications
- ASPPA credential(s) or willingness to obtain
- Strong customer service skills and ability to manage client expectations
- Advanced understanding of retirement plan administration
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel Word Outlook)
- Pension Pro and/or experience preferred (not required)
- Secure home office environment with reliable internet
