About You


We are seeking an experienced Executive Support professional who thrives in a dynamic strategically focused environment. You will bring exceptionalorganisationalskills sound judgment and the ability to manage complex diaries communications and priorities for senior leaders.You will beconfident inhandling confidentialandcomplexmattersandexcel in supporting governance activities coordinating reporting and contributing to strategic initiatives across a busy portfolio.

You will also play a key role in ensuring the smooth daytoday operation of the unitoverseeing office administration finance processes eventlogistics and actingas a key liaising and escalation point forcomplex matters.This role engages regularly with senior staff internal stakeholders and external partners where you will contribute to continuous improvement across systems processes and supporting the delivery of high-quality research services.

To be successful in this positionyoullhave:

  • A degree withsubsequentrelevant experience or an equivalent combination of extensive experience and specialistexpertise in providing high-level executive and administrative support within a university or similarly large and complexorganisation.

  • Demonstrated experience in supporting project delivery and operational activities in complex environments including project administration communications action tracking report development and progressing issues to resolution.

  • Highly developed interpersonal verbal and written communication skills with a proven ability to draft high-quality correspondence and liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders on complex sensitive and confidential matters.

  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities exercise sound judgment meet deadlines in high pressure environments andmaintaina strong attention to detail while working independently and collaboratively.

  • Demonstrated initiative and capability in researching andanalysingissues andindependentlyidentifyingand solving problems within broad guidelines.

  • Demonstrated capacity to build constructive working relationships and contribute effectivelyina team environment including within matrix structures and across functional boundaries.

  • High levelof computer literacy and experience with digital tools and systems including word processing presentation software (e.g.PowerPoint) email internet and electronic document management systems such as TRIM.

  • Proven ability to exercise discretionmaintainconfidentiality and respond flexibly and professionally in a dynamic environment with a high volume of work and shifting priorities.
