Moran Assistant Superintendent of Human ResourcesSUBJECT: After-School Grant Activity Support Staff (ASOST Grant- & GVP Grant) The following position(s) are open to all interested personnel. This position is grant funded through the FY26 After School and Out-of-School Time (ASOST) Grant and the Gun Violence Prevention Grant. Program OverviewBrockton Public Schools operates after-school programming designed to support students academic success social-emotional development and overall well-being in a safe and structured the ASOST Lift Up Academy program and the Gun Violence Prevention initiative students are provided with enrichment activities mentoring academic support structured recreation and programming that promotes positive decision-making conflict resolution and community -School Support Staff play a key role in assisting with the implementation of daily activities across both grant initiatives helping to create a safe engaging and supportive after-school environment aligned with ASOST and GVP program should reference the job code Ad # Lift Up Academy / GVP Support StaffQualificationsOpen to all staffExperience working with elementary- or middle-school-aged students preferredAbility to support structured programming and student supervisionStrong communication collaboration and relationship-building skillsNo licensure requiredResponsibilitiesSupport the implementation of after-school enrichment mentoring and prevention-focused activities funded through ASOST and GVPAssist with student supervision during academic recreational and enrichment periodsHelp maintain a safe inclusive and structured environment that promotes positive behavior and conflict resolutionSupport student engagement through relationship-building and mentorshipAssist program leads with activity preparation setup and cleanupCommunicate regularly with program staff regarding student participation and needsSupport attendance tracking and required documentation to ensure compliance with ASOST and GVP grant requirementsCompensationThe grant will fund nine (9) positions at a stipend of $2440 reflects work completed outside the regular school day during scheduled after-school program hours
