Position Overview
EH&S Sr. Specialist will provide support to implement and monitor the environment health and safety programs for our Santa Clara CA site.
Essential Job Functions
Performsday-to-dayactivities tomaintaincompliance with local state and federal EH&S regulations.
Perform frequent site audits and inspections to support EH&S needs.
Developsand implementsrequirements for ISO 14001 and ISO 50001 programs / certifications.
Maintains the processes and activities associated with the ISO 14001 certification program including communications policies and procedures reports and metrics individual projects andobjectives.
Ensures applicable compliance obligations areidentified.
Identifiesinterested parties and their needs and expectations according to ISO 14001.
Develops and lead improvements to relevant areas of the EHS program such as audits investigations management systems corrective action deployment and training.
Verifies effectiveness of Corrective Action Plans to close out non-conformities.
Provides technicalexpertisefor all EHS programs.
Actively work as a key resource for change management implementation needs e.g. new equipment chemicals etc.
Leads the identification of programs that need improvement. Creates and leads teams to address deficiencies.
Requirements
Bachelors degree in a related fieldand5-7 years of experience within an EH&S role.
Experience in a clean room manufacturinga plus.
Formal lead auditor qualification in ISO 14001 & ISO 50001.
Experience in successfully developing andimplementingISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management systems.
Knowledge of local stateand federal regulatory agencies and requirements.
Usespersuasive techniques to influence others without reliance on formal authority.
Strong problem-solving anddecision-makingskills.
Ability to work in a fast-pacedenvironment while managing multiple priorities.
Operate as a team and/or independently whiledemonstratingflexibilityto changing requirements.
Capable of multi-functional assignments.
There may be continuous sitting for prolonged periods (more than 2 consecutive hours in an8-hourday).

Additional Information
The Company maintains highly competitive performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporations performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Companys discretion on an individual basis.
