The Role
As aClient ProposalApprentice yourroleisdesigned to provide broad exposure to several coredepartmentswithin theClient Group function. Over the course of the programme the apprentice willinitiallyrotate across key teamsincluding RFP (Request for Proposal) Databases and other platformfocused areasgaining a well-rounded foundation in assetmanagement beforeultimately progressinginto a specialist area.
You will work with experienced professionals across the business contributing to meaningful projects and developing technical writing analytical and communication skills.
What will you be doing
As aClient Proposal Apprentice you willbetakingpartin a rotation programme:
Databases & Platform Teams Rotation
Assistin managing and updating productand firmrelated dataon various Databases.
Review areas of Databases toidentifygaps and help build solutions / processes to improve overall Client Experience. This role will include working on areas such as ESG and AI.
Support data integrity checks/ auditsand contribute to improving data processes and workflows.
Learn how investment product information is sourcedvalidated stored and distributed across the business.
RFP Team Rotation
Support the preparation of highquality RFPs RFIs and DDQs across Wholesale and Institutional opportunities.
Collaborate with investment specialists product teams compliance performanceriskand other internal stakeholders to gather information and ensure submissions areaccurateand wellcrafted.
Contribute tomaintainingand enhancing the content database (e.g.RocketDocs) including supporting updates audits and content improvement projects.
CrossTeam Projects & Development
Participate in team initiatives focused on operational efficiency process enhancementreportingand data quality improvement.
Demonstrate accountability formaintainingand improving controls supporting strong client outcomes and contributing to a wellmanaged operational environment.
What will I need to be successful in this role
Excellent organisational and time management skills to manage multiple RFP projects simultaneously whilstmaintainingexcellent attention to detail.
Good creative writing skills and good grammar/authoring; Ability to write in a clear concise manner.
Confident liaising with stakeholders of varying seniority and the ability to build good working relationships by understanding needs and requirements.
Proficient in the MS Office suite (Outlook Word Excel PowerPoint).
Ability to write for multiple audiences and stakeholders.
Ability to manage and control multiple priorities and competing deadlines.
Ability todemonstrateinitiative to improve processes and content.
MinimumRequirements
Available to start the apprenticeship programme in September 2026
You must not be enrolled into another further education programme at the beginning of the programme
Be a UK citizen or have proof of your right to work in the UK
Living inEngland
Minimum of Grade 4 in GCSE English and Mathematics
Minimum of Grade C in Three A-Levels or equivalent such as BTEC Nationals
Training Provided
AsaClient Proposal Apprenticewith M&G you willundertakeAI & Data FoundationsLevel 3Apprenticeship.The apprenticeship will be delivered through a blend of live online learning pre-recorded lectures and face to face inductions and masterclasses
Future Prospects
This is a fixed term contract for18- 23months upon which the business may decide toretain subject to the Apprentice performance headcount and available funding. If recruited into a permanent role the individual will follow the career progression applicable to the specific role/department.
