What youll do
- Design build test and maintain high-quality user-facing applications with a strong focus on usability performance and visual design.
- Own the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) including requirements analysis design implementation automated testing CI/CD deployment into cloud environments and production support.
- Develop modern responsive UIs using best practices in frontend architecture while ensuring seamless integration with backend services.
- Apply core UX principles to create intuitive aesthetically pleasing and consistent user experiences that meet business and user needs.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows leveraging AWS services and infrastructure best practices.
- Collaborate with product managers designers and backend engineers while operating independently and driving work forward with minimal supervision.
- Write clean maintainable and well-tested code and contribute to code reviews and technical design discussions.
- Work effectively under tight deadlines adjusting priorities and scope as requirements evolve.
Whats REQUIRED
- A senior level (8) of professional experience as a software engineer with significant experience building user-facing applications.
- Strong well-rounded software engineering background including coding testing CI/CD and production deployments.
- Proven ability to work independently as a self-starter taking ownership of problems end-to-end with minimal supervision.
- Deep understanding of the SDLC and modern software engineering best practices.
- Preference for experience using React with TypeScript though this is not a strict requirement.
- Solid knowledge of UI engineering fundamentals including component-based architectures state management performance optimization and accessibility.
- Strong grasp of core UX principles with the ability to translate user needs into intuitive visually polished interfaces.
- Experience deploying and operating applications in the cloud
- Experience with CI/CD tools and workflows (e.g. GitHub Actions or similar).
- Familiarity with testing strategies including unit integration and end-to-end testing for UI-heavy applications.
- Strong problem-solving skills attention to detail and ability to adapt quickly in a fast-moving environment.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
