Job Summary

As thePortfolio Manager II RealEstateGroupyou will betasked with executing all portfolio management activities for monitoringidentifying and managing the credit risk of the CRE portfolio whichgenerally consistsof loan relationships greater than $5000000. The Portfolio Manager will manage the associated credit risks of an assigned CRE loan portfolio which includes analysis of borrower and guarantor financial statements annual reviews performance covenant testing extensions modifications and non-performing loan management.

Howyoullspend your time:

You will partner with Relationship Managers to effectively lead the oversight and management of an assigned portfolio of CRE loans/relationships.

Youwill focus onmanagement ofan assigned portfolio of existing loans.

You will perform credit underwriting duties for existing client relationships for assigned portfolio which may include but are not limited to the following: perform detailed credit analysis to complete annual reviews and/or modifications/extensions to determine borrower/guarantor repayment capacity appropriate loan structuring recommendations collateral analysis on multiple asset classes and preparation of pricing models suitable for each credit request.

You will prepare and present credit packages for credit and loan committee review and approval of annual reviews modifications renewals and other requests as necessaryutilizingBank MIS.

You willmonitorand document covenant compliancein accordance withloan documents and bank policy ona timelybasis.

You will follow established protocols tomonitorand cure whenpossibledocumentation exceptions past due financialreportingand performance covenants.

You will recognize and manage early warning signs for the portfolio on a recurring basis which may include but are not limited to the following: analyze borrower / guarantor / property financial performance upon receipt of reporting requirements eithermonthlyquarterlyor annually.

You will fully analyze and confirm financial covenant compliance analyze payment performancebenchmarksand perform regular financial reviews.

You will provide recurring customer service to existing and prospective clients which includes direct contact with customers either through participation in joint sales calls with Relationship Managers or direct correspondence with clients.

You will perform various projects/tasks as needed with an emphasis onmaintaining UMB TUCE at alltimes;and other duties as assigned.

You have3yearscommercial real estate experience including credit analysis/underwriting.

Oryouhave acombination of education and experience thatprovidean equivalent background.

You hold acurrent valid drivers license.

You have anexcellent level of understanding ofcredit underwriting of all major investment CRE property types.

You have theability to understand and interpret policies/procedures contracts loan documents credit reports financial statements and property reports.

You haveexcellent analytical skills including underwriting of CRE properties andmarkets;and guarantor financial statements including real estateschedules;.

You have a great depth ofknowledge and understanding of how to processstructure and renew/extend maturing loans.

You haveknowledge of bank products services and bank operations.

Youare aself-starter show initiativeand transfer knowledge to less experienced peers.

You haveproficiencyin Word Excel PowerPoint.

You haveknowledge of commercial lending software.

Bonus points if:

You have 5yearscommercial real estate experience including credit analysis/underwriting and 2 years of commercial banking experience.

You are able to prospect and network at various levels within a company and industry.

You understand how to conduct global cash flow (GCF) analysis of borrowers and guarantorsutilizingtax returns credit reports and personal financial statements.

Youpossessadvanced Excel skills -cancreate Pivot tables conduct V&H Lookup; Simple Macros etc.

You are familiar withFISLoan Accounting System.

Compensation Range:

$63830.00 - $136580.00
