About the Role:
The Accounts Payable Analyst is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices employee expense claims and payments. This role supports day-to-day accounts payable (AP) operations ensures compliance with company policies accounting standards and internal controls and serves as a primary point of contact for vendor and employee inquiries.
As the Newest Member of our Team Youll:
Ensure the accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices employee expense claims and payments in line with accounting standards policies and internal controls.
Partner closely with procurement vendors and internal teams to resolve invoice discrepancies and twoway/threeway matching exceptions.
Execute weekly payment runs (cheque EFT and wire) and maintain accurate vendor and employee master data including banking and tax information.
Be a trusted point of contact for vendor and employee inquiries managing the AP inbox and resolving issues with professionalism and care.
Support monthend close activities including accruals and account reconciliations contributing to accurate financial reporting.
Complete new vendor onboarding including independent callback verification ensuring strong governance and risk controls.
To Succeed You Bring:
1-2 years of hands-on accounts payable experience.
College diploma or bachelors degree in accounting finance business or a related field.
Solid understanding of accounting principles and accounts payable best practices.
Proficiency in MS Office tools including Excel Word Outlook Adobe and SharePoint.
Experience with ERP and AP systems such as SAP S/4HANA SAP Ariba and SAP Concur is preferred.
The target hiring salary for this position is $61800.00 - $72700.00. Placement within our salary range will be based on factors such as internal equity market conditions and the candidates experience skills and qualifications relevant to the role.
