Role: Residential Support Worker Waking Nights

Salary:25949 per annum pro rata

Location:Almondsbury Bristol

Contract/Hours: Permanent Part- Time 18.75 hrs per week working Nights.

A bit about the role

Were looking for a dedicated Residential Support Workers for waking nights to join our team. Our Residential Support Workers create a safe and supportive environment for children and young people to grow and develop. You will be supporting with any night-time needs by assisting them with tasks such as personal care and household chores. The level of support will vary depending on the individual needs focusing on fostering a sense of accomplishment and well-being.

Accurate time keeping is essential so youll be expected to document night-time activities common incidents and progress as well as contribute to reports and reviews.

About the service

Russell House is a short break home providing accommodation and support for children and young people have both physical and learning disabilities.

The home provides a warm caring and comfortable environment where young people feel safe and free to gain and develop skills and achieve maximum quality of life.

We are seeking Waking night Residential Support Workers to help us maintain the high standards of care and personal development our young people deserve.

We are seeking enthusiastic self-motivated individuals to join our supportive team! These are excellent opportunities to support activities and sessions whilst providing quality care.

  • Providecase/care planningmanagement including assessing reviewing and managing risk
  • Co-ordinatingresponsibilitieswithin theservicewithmulti agency and producing familyinformation includinganalysisand written reports
  • Attendance atprofessionalmeetings including reviews courtworketc.
  • Leadby examplewiththeapplicationofActionforChildrens policy procedures andprofessionalpractice standards and in linewithregistrationrequirements.

Ideally you will:

Dontworry ifyouvenever worked in a similar role beforeitsyour personality and personalvaluesthat matter. Ifyourepassionate about creating brighter futures this could be the perfect role for you.

Ideallyyoull:

  • Understand how to engage with young people.
  • Have a positive approach and can do attitude.
  • Ability to work on your own or as part of a team.
  • Be readyto completea level 3 in Residential Childcarewithin 2 years ofcommencingemployment with us full support will be provided.
