The Admissions Administrative Assistant provides clerical support to the Office of Admissions and serves as the primary point of contact for incoming communications across the College. This role functions as the live operator after the automated phone tree triaging calls to the appropriate departments. Additional responsibilities include monitoring shared email inboxes and voicemail greeting incoming visitors and entering prospective student information into the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
Essential Job Functions
Function as the post-phone tree operator to triage incoming calls and answer general questions about the College.
Serve as the front-desk lead receiving and directing all visitors to the College in a welcoming professional accurate and timely manner.
Perform data entry into the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and Student Information System (SIS).
Monitor shared email inboxes and voicemail systems to ensure prompt response and follow-up.
Triage all incoming mail to the College.
Complete organizational tasks for Admissions events including information sessions new student orientation and other Admissions programming.
Maintain strong knowledge of enrollment business processes.
Participate in cross-training opportunities to provide support across multiple functions within the admissions office.
Demonstrate excellent customer service skills and the ability to work with a diverse population.

Education
High school diploma or GED (required)
2-year associates degree (preferred)
Work Experience
3 years of administrative assistant experience
