Preferred Qualifications:
Current or previous employment as a human resources generalist or human resources business partner with the State of Colorado
State of Colorado Personnel certification (SPCP) in Selection
State of Colorado Personnel certification (SPCP) in Job Evaluation
State of Colorado Personnel certification (SPCP) in Personal Services Contracts
Experience working with the ATS (Applicant Tracking System) preferably state or government systems.
Knowledge of state statutes personnel board rules and best practices related to human resources
Experience supporting high volume or complex recruitment environments.
Experience interpreting job classifications minimum qualifications and eligibility rules.
Experience delivering training in both virtual and in-person settings.
Experience guiding hiring managers on recruitment strategy selection methods and compliance requirements.
Experience with compensation analysis
Strong customer service background (internal external stakeholders)
Strong analytical skills with experience using recruitment metrics to influence decisions.
Strong communication skills ( written and verbal)
Conditions of Employment:
Pursuant to CDPHE policy a background check is required for all positions at CDPHE.
Critical Status: Must be available in the event of an emergency (e.g. bio-terrorist attack chemical attack disease outbreak or all hazards) and be required to report to work immediately at the regular or alternate location. During this time travel restrictions may be in place.
