Provide a safe clean and welcoming environment for guests at the Health Club Fitness Centre and Kids Adventure Camp. This role works independently balancing facility supervision rule enforcement light cleaning and childrens activities.
Pay Rate: $19.47/hour
Start Date: June 22nd 2026.
Responsibilities
Welcome guests and ensure a safe enjoyable experience in the Health Club and pool area.
Monitor facility rules enforce age and capacity limits and report any safety or medical issues to Security.
Conduct hourly walkthroughs of the fitness and pool areas maintain cleanliness and restock towels and supplies.
Supervise up to 10 children in Kids Adventure Camp plan and lead structured activities and organize outdoor play on property.
Handle check-in and check-out with parents and escalate behavioral or safety issues as necessary.
Respond to lost children or parent-reported issues by notifying Security and contacting the department manager.
Support special events and other department duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
Current CPR and First Aid certification.
Previous experience in recreation health club or child care preferred.
Excellent guest service communication and problem-solving skills.
Comfortable working independently and making judgment calls on safety.
Interest in health fitness and working with children.
Physical Requirements
Frequent standing and walking throughout the shift.
Occasional kneeling pushing pulling lifting.
Ability to perform light cleaning and carry towels/supplies as needed.
