Job Summary
Hospice of Marion County a part of Empath Health is seeking a caring and motivated Admissions RN for admissions in homes facilities and hospitals in Marion County.
Schedule: 4 x 10 hour shifts with weekend rotation.

What youll Do
- The Admissions RN is a first responder who assesses eligibility for Empath Health Network of Care
- Advocating for optimal access to the right care at the right time in any care setting.
- The Admissions RN completes the admission process based on care program specifics guidelines and patient-specific needs.
- Coordinate and assist with the Professional Liaison to deliver educational in-service and outreach tools in the hospital.
- Works directly with community referral sources to educate regarding Empath Health programs and services.
- Complies with RN On Call scheduling needs as well as vendor credentialing process.

What Youll Need
- Education and/or Experience: Associates degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Licensure:
- Valid Florida license as a Registered Nurse
- Valid Florida State Drivers License
- For field-based positions employees must have reliable transportation which will enable them to perform tasks and responsibilities in a timely and appropriate fashion. Must provide proof of valid automobile insurance a copy of which will be placed in the employees HR file.
