Position Overview
A leading healthcare organization in eastern North Carolina is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) Oncology to join its inpatient oncology team. This role is responsible for delivering high-quality patient-centered nursing care to oncology patients ensuring safety comfort and clinical excellence during night shifts.
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive nursing care to oncology patients in accordance with evidence-based practices.
Perform patient assessments develop and implement individualized care plans.
Administer medications chemotherapy (if applicable) and treatments safely and accurately.
Monitor patient progress and communicate effectively with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses treatments and discharge planning.
Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with regulatory and facility standards.
Respond appropriately to emergencies and changes in patient condition.
Compensation
Base Pay (Experienced & New Graduate RNs)
$33.00 $54.45 per hour
Paid-in-Lieu-of-Benefits (PLB) Option
Full-Time: 30% added to base rate
Part-Time: 20% added to base rate
PLB teammates are eligible for shift differentials and pay-for-performance awards but are not eligible for PTO accrual or benefits participation.
Relocation Incentive (2-Year Commitment)
50250 miles: $2500
251500 miles: $5000
501 miles: $10000
Commitment / Retention Incentives
New Graduate RNs Total $15000 (3 Years)
Upon Hire: $1000
90 Days: $1000
6 Months: $2000
1 Year: $4000
2 Years: $7000
Patient Facing Nights (All Units Including Specialty)
3 Years: $25000
4 Years: $35000
Inpatient Nights (Selected Units & Float Pool)
3 Years: $30000
4 Years: $40000

Education Requirements
Required:
Nursing Diploma
ORADN/ASN from an accredited school of Nursing
Preferred:
BSN or MSN from an accredited school of Nursing
Certifications & Licensure
Active Registered Nurse license in the State of North Carolina
BLS certification (AHA or ARC)
