This role is well suited for a student or early career professional who is eager to gain hands on experience take ownership of their work and contribute in a high accountability fast paced environment. The successful candidate will work closely with property management and leasing teams to deliver an exceptional prospect and resident experience while supporting occupancy goals.
This is a hands on seasonal role with exposure to core leasing marketing and resident engagement activities and opportunities to develop customer service skills sales confidence and professional addition to the duties typically expected of a Summer Real Estate Leasing Intern responsibilities will include:
- Providing information to current and future residents using exceptional customer care skills and a level of responsiveness unmatched in the industry;
- Presenting suites (conducting property viewings)
- Accepting rental applications for review and processing;
- Providing necessary and proactive administrative support to ensure efficient processing of applications and correspondence;
- Handling all inquiries and maintaining regular contact with the resident community to ensure complete follow up and resolution;
- Organizing and participating in Resident Community Events;
- Inspecting suites to ensure quality standards are continuously achieved;
- Using internal systems to collect record and track activities and items of benefit or concern from our clients;
- Contributing to a positive team environment by supporting team members
Qualifications
- Pursuing studies in business marketing sales real estate and/or hospitality
- Sales aptitude
- Social media savvy
- Outgoing and energetic personality
- Outstanding communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong administrative skills
- Creative and resourceful nature
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Proficiency with MS Office applications
Additional Information
- A drivers license and vehicle are required for this role.
- You need to have flexibility in your work week and be available for evening and weekend hours
- This is a full-time four-month student co-op position running from May to September.
- Candidate must be fluent written and spoken skills in English and French skills would be considered an asset

- Must have own vehicle and a clean drivers abstract.
- Must be available to work flexible hours including weekend availability
- This role requires a mandatory full-time-in-office schedule (5 days/week)
