Job Description

The Communications & External Affairs Specialist supports the planning implementation and coordination of highquality communication activities and content for internal and external audiences contributing to the building and protection of the corporate brand. The role assists in identifying media opportunities and executing social media actions to strengthen company purpose vision business updates and culture pillars.

This position reports directly to the Communications & Patient Engagement Associate Director and collaborates with crossfunctional teams to support strategic communications media engagement civil society relations and corporate reputation efforts.

The role requires a proactive organized creative professional with strong growth potential able to work effectively in a dynamic and crossfunctional environment.

Primary Activities

  • Support the execution of the internal and external communications plan for the company in Colombia ensuring alignment across key audiences channels and messages.

  • Assist in implementing corporate communications initiatives in coordination with HR to help position the company as a top employer and industry leader.

  • Coordinate company social media activities and help manage corporate digital assets (website regional channels) to strengthen Colombias local and regional presence.

  • Work in collaboration with the Communications & Patient Engagement Associate Director Policy Team and Business Units to support communication initiatives aligned with business objectives and external trends.

  • Assist in coordinating engagement activities with civil society organizations and support plan execution and tracking.

  • Contribute to the development and dissemination of internal communications materials and campaigns.

  • Collaborate closely with the LATAM Communications team to share best practices and support regional/global initiatives.

  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and maintain accurate records of social responsibility and philanthropy activities for audit purposes.

Profile Required

  • Education: Communication Design Multimedia or related fields.

  • 2-5 years of experience supporting internal and/or external communications. Experience in the pharmaceutical sector is a plus.

  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills in Spanish and English.

  • Ability to work crossfunctionally and adapt business messages for diverse audiences.

  • Handson approach comfortable supporting both strategic and operational tasks.

  • Proficiency with digital publishing tools social media platforms and digital communication management.

  • Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively.

  • High ethics integrity and ability to build trustworthy relationships.
