Job Summary:

The Vice President Talent Management (Chinese Mainland) plays a critical role in advancing HKEXs talent management and employee engagement agenda in Chinese Mainland. This position is responsible for local implementation of HKEX talent development strategies and for designing localizing and delivering learning programmes that enhance leadership functional capabilities. The role also contributes to staff engagement and culture-building initiatives to support collaboration performance excellence and a positive employee experience in Chinese Mainland.

Job Duties:

Key Responsibilities
Learning & Development

Execute HKEX Groups talent and learning strategies within Chinese Mainland and ensure alignment with business priorities and operational needs.

Develop and localise high-quality learning programmes covering leadership soft skills onboarding and functional capability.

Facilitate training sessions and workshops serving as an internal trainer to promote learning effectiveness.

Evaluate learning effectiveness analyse feedback and business insights and continuously enhance programme quality.

Partner with business and HR leaders to identify development needs and propose targeted development solutions.


Staff Engagement & Culture

Support and implement staff engagement initiatives that reinforce HKEXs culture and employee experience in Chinese Mainland.

Support the delivery of engagement activities internal communication plans and recognition programmes.

Collaborate with HRBPs and business units to identify engagement opportunities support action planning and monitor progress.

Monitor localized engagement indicators and recommend initiatives that strengthen team connectivity.

Talent Management
Contribute to the roll-out and localisation of competency frameworks leadership models and development pathways set by Group Talent Management

Contribute to talent and development processes ensuring alignment with organisational priorities.
Provide insights on talent capability trends to support broader Talent Management strategies.

Stakeholder & Team Leadership
Partner with senior leaders to understand local capability needs and propose development solutions.
Collaborate closely with Group HR and stakeholders to ensure alignment and consistency.


Qualifications & Experience
Bachelors degree is required; Masters degree in HR Psychology Education or related fields is preferred.
10 years of experience in Learning & Development Talent Management or related areas.
Experience in facilitating workshops and delivering learning programs is required; Experience in designing learning program is preferred.
Exposure to staff engagement culture initiatives or organisational development is preferred.
Strong communication facilitation and stakeholder management capabilities.
Experience in multinational or complex organisational environments is preferred.
Fluent in Mandarin and English.
