As the Upper South Island Asset Engineer youll lead a team of Field Asset Engineers and inspectors to support the reliability and safety of KiwiRails network by managing infrastructure assets across their lifecycle. From maintenance planning to performance monitoring and technical advice youll ensure our assets are fit for purpose and compliant with national standards. Your work will help minimise risk and maximise service delivery making rail safer and more resilient for everyone.
Working closely with regional teams and national specialists youll be part of a collaborative environment where data insights and proactive engineering make a real difference.
