Job Skills / Requirements

Sanitation Managerwill bedirectly responsiblefor day-to-day operations customer satisfaction strong financial performance labor management accountretentionand strong employeemanagement.

Specific responsibilities include work scheduling of all account personnelestablishingwork standardsconductingsite evaluations/audits overall inventory/equipment usage budget control troubleshooting/ problem solving orientation/training offoreman supervisory and support personnel safety compliance customer relations and special project work asrequested.

This individual will also ensure that all managed services arebeing providedin a proper and cost-effective manner.

This job is associated with travel.

Essential FUNCTIONS: Ensures that service delivery is consistent with the highestquality ofstandards within our organization.

PRIMARY DUTIES:

  • Supervise and coordinate all sanitation activities with assigned Supervisors
  • Schedule train coach counsel all assignedsupervisorystaff
  • In partnership with Human Resources conduct staff performance reviews
  • Motivate encourageand discipline staff to reach their maximum potential
  • Responsible for sanitation metrics standards budget
  • Coordinate sanitation activities with production maintenance and quality control management
  • Lead Weekly Sanitation Meetings withassistanceof CBS
  • Attend all required L10 War and Planning Meetings as well as alltrainingcoursesrequired
  • Adhere to developed cleaning methods and procedures designed toeliminate operating problems and improve sanitation efficiency
  • Ensure documentation completiondailywithreviewsand always assuring audit readiness
  • Follow Lock Out/Tag Out and HAZCOM programs
  • Follow equipment ATP testing data interpretation and corrective action as needed
  • Oversee the chemistry and resource management at assigned locations
  • Carry out management responsibilitiesin accordance withourbest practices policiesproceduresand applicable laws
  • Lead by example modeling team readiness and dependability
  • Follow andassistin the review of the Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) SafeQuality Food standards (SQF)U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) standardsand/orFood and DrugAdministration (FDA) standards
  • Adhere to allPersonal Protective Equipment (PPE)andall established Safety rules and practices
  • Essential Physical Requirements:
  • Able to do repetitive work
  • Able tolift upto 60lbs
  • Able to work in a high-paced and hot environment
  • Able to withstand strong odors from the foods being processed
  • Requires frequent bending/stooping and reaching

Other Skills Education & Specialized Knowledge:

  • Minimum 4 years experience as a Sanitation Manager/Supervisor in a food manufacturing preferred environment
  • Understanding of GMPs SQF BRC HACCP Sanitation practices/auditing quality programs preventative maintenance programs
  • Possess an understanding of industrial sanitation theory CIP and chemistry verification techniques
  • Demonstrated ability in carrying out verification and validation of specialized cleaning procedures
  • Understand andcomply withgovernment regulations relating to OSHAUSDAFDAand EPA
  • Able to follow written or verbal instructions communicate clearly as well as demonstrateexcellent interpersonal skills
  • Able to communicate protocols inEnglish and Spanish
