Job Summary

This person will have responsibility for:

Develop and implement quality assurance processes and procedures to ensure product or service conformance to specifications.
Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with quality standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish quality metrics set goals and drive continuous improvement efforts.
Investigate and analyze customer complaints and non-conformance issues identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on quality metrics to management highlighting trends and recommending actions to address deficiencies.
Ensure adherence to applicable regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Participate in supplier qualification and evaluation processes to ensure the quality of incoming materials and components.
Promote a culture of quality and facilitate training programs to enhance quality awareness and skills within the organization.
Stay updated on industry best practices emerging trends and regulatory changes related to quality management.
Led a team of internal and external quality auditors to ensure the products are being audited on time with all the necessary protocols as per SOPs.

Desired professional qualities:

Bachelors degree in a relevant field; a masters degree is preferred
End to End Product Knowledge (Jewellery All Categories) is a must
Proven experience in quality management or a related role with a minimum of 7 years experience in jewellery industry
In-depth knowledge of quality management systems methodologies and regulatory requirements
Strong understanding of quality control principles statistical analysis and process improvement techniques
Demonstrated experience in driving continuous improvement initiatives
Excellent analytical problem-solving and decision-making skills
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and precision
Relevant certifications (e.g. Six Sigma Lean ISO) are highly desirable
