About the role
The System Modelling division includes the functions of power system model development and provision operational software development power system application support and international peer collaboration. Sitting within the System Modelling division the Network Modelling & Information teams objective is to enable the business and stakeholders through provision of high quality fit for purpose power system models and support modelling capability in the context of increasing model complexity a broader user base and suite of cutting edge power system modelling tools
You will lead AEMOs Data Request function in accordance with NER 3.13.3 to provide fit for purpose high quality models to participants in-line with AEMOs obligations to maintain confidentiality.
You will own AEMOs Model Issues Reporting Page (MIRP) including tracking and resolution of model issues as well as internal reporting. You responsibilities will also include testing and integrating dynamic models for new connections into AEMOs Modelling Platform (AMP).You will support assessment of model standards and adoption of new tools and techniques such as Common Information Model (CIM) and IEEE/CIGRE real-code model standards.
