Work to Be Accomplished:
The Texas Department of Transportation () is seeking a skilled AEM Developer to design build and maintain interactive digital forms and workflows within the Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) platform. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and interpersonal abilities to effectively engage with business stakeholders understand customer needs provide clear and concise information and address concerns promptly and professionally.
Key Responsibilities:

Form Design & Development: Create and update adaptive HTML5 and PDF forms ensuring dynamic capabilities fillable fields form templates Adobe Sign integration and user-friendly layouts

AEM Configuration: Implement and maintain custom AEM Forms components templates and OSGi workflows to meet project requirements

Adobe Lifecycle Migration: Assist with migration from Adobe Lifecycle Designer to AEM Forms including working with business users to understand current requirements and migrating to AEM Adaptive or HTML forms

Integration: Connect AEM Forms with backend systems and identity management to enable seamless data flow

JavaScript & Validation: Develop custom scripts for form logic and data validation

Front-End Development: Proficient in HTML CSS and JavaScript

Repository & Version Control: Skilled in Adobe repository usage version control branching strategies and deployment
-
Performance & Accessibility: Optimize forms for performance cross-browser compatibility and accessibility standards such as Section 508 compliance
-
Collaboration: Work with business users analysts UI/UX designers and developers to gather requirements and deliver functional AEM Forms solutions

Troubleshooting & Support: Diagnose and resolve form functionality issues and provide ongoing maintenance and deployment support

Documentation: Prepare technical specifications and document architectural designs for AEM initiatives

Minimum Years of Experience Skills and Qualifications:
-
Bachelors degree in computer science information technology or a related field

8 years of experience as an AEM Forms Developer
-
8 years of experience with the AEM platform

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
-
Excellent customer interaction skills

Working knowledge of content management systems
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

Knowledge of additional AEM platform capabilities such as AEM Sites DAM and AEM Guides
