Senior Consultant (Key)
Location: National Capital Region (Hybrid Support to U.S. Coast Guard PSC)
Clearance: Ability to obtain favorable fitness determination required
Position Summary
The Senior Consultant serves as a senior advisor supporting enterprise-level strategic initiatives across the U.S. Coast Guard Personnel Service Center (PSC) Mission Support portfolio. This role provides executive-level program and project management leadership while guiding organizational change business transformation governance development and performance improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Guide executive-level strategic initiatives and transformation efforts
- Provide program and project management leadership across PSC portfolios
- Apply advanced business-process improvement and re-engineering techniques
- Develop and maintain integrated master schedules (IMS) risk logs and dashboards
- Provide executive coaching to senior stakeholders
- Oversee change management communications and strategic planning activities
- Support governance development and implementation
- Review project deliverables for compliance and quality assurance
- Provide analytical support for performance measurement and ROI analysis
- Advise on database modernization and enterprise reporting improvements
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Engineering Business or related field
- PMP or DHS Mid-Level Program Manager Certification (or equivalent)
- 7 years of experience; or 5 years with a Masters degree or higher
- Experience supporting Federal agencies (USCG DHS DoD preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Project Access SharePoint and O365
