Senior Business Consultant (Key)
Location: National Capital Region (Hybrid Support to U.S. Coast Guard PSC)
Clearance: Ability to obtain favorable fitness determination required
Position Summary
The Senior Business Consultant leads enterprise change-management and performance-measurement initiatives across PSC programs. This role integrates cross-functional systems and supports business transformation efforts aligned with Coast Guard mission priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead change-management and performance improvement initiatives
- Conduct business-case and alternatives analyses
- Develop enterprise performance measurement frameworks
- Ensure financial and internal controls compliance
- Support Lean Six Sigma based process improvement efforts
- Integrate multi-system solutions across PSC platforms
- Develop program-level metrics aligned to enterprise strategy
- Support organizational modernization initiatives
- Provide executive-level briefings and recommendations
- Support PSC dashboard and reporting improvements
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Engineering Business or related field
- PMP or DHS Mid-Level Program Manager Certification or Six Sigma Master Black Belt (or equivalent)
- 7 years of experience; or 5 years with a Masters degree or higher
- Experience in strategic planning and performance management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Project Access SharePoint and O365
