Management Consultant (Key)
Location: National Capital Region (Hybrid Support to U.S. Coast Guard PSC)
Clearance: Ability to obtain favorable fitness determination required
Position Summary
The Management Consultant supports the execution of complex organizational initiatives across PSC business lines through project management process improvement and strategic communications support. This role is responsible for initiative management and ensuring performance management efforts align with enterprise objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct multiple complex performance management initiatives
- Support organizational change-management strategies
- Facilitate stakeholder engagement and governance processes
- Assist in development of project charters and implementation plans
- Track initiative progress using dashboards and performance metrics
- Support business case analysis and project prioritization efforts
- Ensure compliance with strategic plans and enterprise goals
- Review project work products for accuracy and alignment
- Support risk management and corrective action planning
- Assist with Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBRs) and reporting
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Engineering Business or related field
- PMP or DHS Mid-Level Program Manager Certification (or equivalent)
- 7 years of experience; or 5 years with a Masters degree or higher
- Federal program or project management support experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Project Access SharePoint and O365
