We are looking for aCustomer Service Team Leaderto our international customer service team in De Lier.

Within BA Global we currently export products from six different factories to 88 countries worldwide. Our customer base is diverse and ranges from distributors to end growers from small businesses to large organizations and spanning both EU and non-EU markets. This diversity requires the Global Customer Service team to manage a highly dynamic order process. As a Team Leader within BA Global Customer Service you will play a key role in this process. You will be responsible for the daily coordination of the Global Customer Service team guiding and supporting team members improving workflows and managing projects that enhance efficiency and drive continuous development within the customer service function.

Key responsibilities

  • Coordinating and steering of daily operations of the global customer service order intake team ensuring accurate and timely processing of the export orders and shipments.

  • Optimizing customer service processes in close collaboration with Line Manager to ensure efficient workflows and utilization of Salesforce and other related tools.

  • Close collaboration with CS Global document team to ensure document compliance.

  • Pro-actively identifying improvement possibilities and resolving issues.

  • Collecting and sharing insights on market situations.

  • Participating and supporting daily customer service work.

Job requirements

Main skills needed in the position:

  • You are customer-focused and understand how to provide exceptional support to both internal and external stakeholders.

  • You have experience in (complex) order handling and planning and organization. And you have a strong understanding of export procedures. Knowledge of international trade and regulationsis preferred.

  • You have experience and/or a general knowledge of export shipping documentation

  • You possess excellent organizational and prioritization skills. You also have experience in managing day-to-day operations together with team.

  • You have experience in project management and proactive mindset in continuous improvements of processes.

  • You have good IT skills and are ready to learn new things and systems.

  • Your written and oral expression in English is fluent and proficiency in Dutch and other languages is considered an advantage.

The person we are looking for has experience in international export operations logistics document handling and customer addition we value experience the use of ERP and / or CRM systems and general knowledge of the international trade & logistics industry. The most important thing however is the willingness to develop and an enthusiastic attitude.
