We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive QA Engineer with experience in both manual and automation testing to ensure the quality reliability and performance of the Mailercloud platform. The ideal candidate should have strong testing fundamentals hands-on automation experience and the ability to work closely with product and development teams in an agile SaaS environment.

With over 21000 clients our mission is to provide exceptional deliverability user experience and support. We are now looking to expand our team in Kozhikode at our Government Cyberpark office to further scale our operations and provide top-tier support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities / Duties

Manual Testing

Analyze requirements user stories and acceptance criteria to create detailed test plans and test cases

Perform functional regression smoke sanity and exploratory testing

Identify document and track defects using bug tracking tools

Validate UI/UX email workflows APIs and integrations

Perform cross-browser and cross-device testing

Automation Testing

Design develop and maintain automated test scripts for web applications

Identify suitable test cases for automation

Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines

Analyze automation results and report failures

Improve automation coverage and framework stability over time

Collaboration and amp; Quality Ownership

Work closely with developers product managers and support teams

Perform root cause analysis for production issues

Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and standards

Ensure timely and high-quality releases

Required Skills and amp; Qualifications

Must Have

23 years of experience in software testing (Manual Automation)

Strong knowledge of software testing fundamentals and SDLC/STLC

Hands-on experience with automation tools such as:

Selenium / Playwright / Cypress (any one)

Experience in writing test cases test scenarios and test reports

Experience with bug tracking and test management tools

Basic understanding of SQL and databases

Experience testing web-based SaaS applications

Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies

Good to Have

API testing experience (Postman REST Assured etc.)

Performance testing basics (JMeter or similar)

Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions Jenkins etc.)

Knowledge of Git/version control

Experience in email systems deliverability or marketing platforms

Soft Skills

Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking

Good communication and documentation skills

Ownership mindset and proactive approach to quality

Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
