Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced communications professional with a strong track record in lead generation demand generation and customer journey this role you will define and deliver integrated digital-first demand generation communications for Vietnam and Thailand working closely with peers to support business growth. You will translate business priorities into measurable programmes campaigns and experiences that move prospects and customers through the funnel from awareness and consideration to conversion and retention.

This role is an individual contributor you will be based in Ho Chi Minh Vietnam and report to Communication Director ASEAN based in Malaysia.

What you will do

As Communications Manager Demand Generation you will:

  • Define in close collaboration with relevant stakeholders the end-to-end integrated demand generation communications strategy annual plan and budget for Vietnam and Thailand with guidance and agreement from the Communications Director ASEAN.
  • Drive the implementation of agreed priorities and communications activities aligning local execution with global and regional programmes to ensure consistency of narrative brand and activation approach.
  • Work in close partnership with local/regional marketing and sales teams business unit technical experts and digital/media agencies to develop communications strategy create content deploy and localise lead generation initiatives.
  • Own the communications input to the customer journey and nurture approach including audience targeting channel planning content mapping and campaign workflows in support of marketing automation and lead management processes.
  • Provide communications counsel and practical support to peers and stakeholders to localise global/regional campaigns for the markets including managing translation and local adaptation to ensure relevance and quality.
  • Track and report performance and recommend optimisation actions based on results (e.g. lead volume and quality engagement conversion and funnel progression) advising stakeholders on KPIs and measurement.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of communication activities across the markets with a strong focus on demand generation outcomes.

Communication activities may include (but are not limited to) the following areas:

  • Marketing communications (demand generation)
    • Plan and execute demand generation communications activities such as customer newsletters website/landing page content and updates webinars and other campaign tactics supported by agencies where relevant.
    • Leverage digital channels to both push messages and create pull improving customer experience and driving lead capture and nurture.
    • Lead communications-related marketing automation tasks (e.g. email journeys nurture content webinar follow-up communications) and measure results through lead and engagement tracking.
  • Digital communications and media activations
    • In collaboration with peers and agencies strategise and execute digital media activations that support growth objectives for Vietnam and Thailand.
    • Manage and optimise key digital touchpoints (e.g. web pages/landing pages email marketing and webinar journeys social content where relevant) ensuring clear calls to action and measurable outcomes.
  • Event management (demand generation experiences)
    • Lead manage and execute demand generation events such as customer events trade shows and exhibitions and product launch programmes.
    • Own event assessment and planning project management event branding and the coordination of integrated communications initiatives to deliver against agreed KPIs.
    • Ensure events are designed with clear funnel goals (lead capture nurture and conversion) and structured post-event follow-up in partnership with marketing and sales.

We believe you have

  • Relevant degree from a reputable university in Communications/ Marketing/ Business Studies.
  • At least 10 years of relevant regional communication experience in Global MNC preferably from FMCG sectors with good knowledge of global communication framework processes and approach.
  • Proven experience in integrated demand generation communications and B2B lead generation
  • Strong understanding of the customer journey and how to use content and channels to move audiences through the funnel.
  • Hands-on experience working with marketing automation and campaign measurement including performance reporting and optimisation.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to work remotely cross-functionally with marketing sales and technical teams.
  • A strong team player with an ability to work in a diverse virtual environment independently and multitask
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams in parallel and deliver on time and within budget.
  • Experience managing agencies and content production processes including localisation and translation workflows.
  • Results oriented; able to establish clear expectations objectives and priorities set aggressive but achievable goals and track progress.
  • English proficiency (written and spoken) and strong writing/editing skills in Vietnamese and/or Thai
