Shape global marketing investment for one of the worlds most iconic fruit brands.
Based in our Singapore hub - one of Zespris key global centres and our global marketing centre of excellence - youll play a pivotal role in steering how we invest across media creative research and trade marketing worldwide. This is a strategic high visibility role that sits at the intersection of Procurement and Marketing. If youre energised by global impact data driven decision making and building high performing supplier ecosystems this could be the role for you.
As the Global Marketing Procurement Category Manager youll lead marketing procurement excellence across Zespris global footprint partnering with the Chief Marketing Officer regional marketing teams and global agency partners to optimise investment efficiency strengthen ROI and embed best practice across all marketing categories.
Youll be a core driver of Zespris shift to outcome led strategic procurement by embedding global category strategies Strategic Supplier Relationship Management (SSRM) and risk based supplier segmentation. The role will also leverage AI build standardised playbooks and support a centre led operating model to accelerate cycle times protect margin and deliver enterprise value.
In this role you will:
- Lead the development and execution of global category strategies that reduce total cost of ownership consolidate suppliers and elevate commercial performance across markets.
- Own procurement activity for key marketing categories - media market research creative advertising and promotions - with a focus on value transparency and effectiveness.
- Build and leverage global data tools to inform better decisions and enhance commercial outcomes.
- Negotiate complex multi region contracts with strong governance around rebates IP/data ownership and auditability.
- Oversee SSRM to drive sustained performance and innovation.
- Partner with Regional Procurement Managers to ensure strategic alignment and consistent execution across regions.
- Shape Zespris agency ecosystem - including pitch governance scopes of work production decoupling and performance based remuneration.
- Identify opportunities to improve marketing spend efficiency and maximise ROI across consumer facing investments.

You are a commercially astute marketing procurement professional with the confidence to influence executives the curiosity to challenge the status quo and the capability to operate across complex global environments. You will also have the following skills and experience:
- 5 years experience in marketing procurement ideally with exposure to multimarket media and creative categories.
- Proven ability to draft and negotiate complex contracts including abovetheline belowtheline and nonworking marketing services.
- Strong analytical skills and a structured approach to datadriven problem solving.
- Confident communicator skilled at building effective relationships with agencies suppliers internal stakeholders and executive leaders.
- Able to work autonomously with excellent prioritisation and multitasking ability in a fast-paced global environment.
- Confidence using AI tools as part of modern procurement processes.
- Tertiary qualification in Commerce Finance or similar (desirable).
