We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Person 6 to join our team. This role performs advanced building and equipment maintenance including electrical (120/240V single phase) plumbing pneumatics hydraulics lubrication circuits welding and fabrication work. The Maintenance Person 6 also assists other maintenance specialists and provides training to junior maintenance employees. Key Responsibilities Perform all duties associated with Maintenance Person 3 level work. Conduct building and equipment maintenance including plumbing electrical troubleshooting pneumatic hydraulic and lubrication circuit work. Assist Tool Room Machinists Electrical Maintenance Technicians and Mechanics with complex tasks. Perform welding brazing and soldering for maintenance and fabrication. Provide training and support to Maintenance Person 3 personnel. Work safely and efficiently with minimal supervision. Qualifications Technical training in electrical systems pneumatics and hydraulics or equivalent experience. Strong reading math and analytical skills. Physical stamina and ability to meet job-related physical demands. Detail-oriented self-motivated and adaptable. Ability to communicate clearly and work independently or in a team. Consistent and reliable attendance. Understanding of safety health and environmental regulations. Work Environment Industrial/factory setting with routine use of hand tools power tools production gauges and specialized equipment. Exposure to vibration moderately loud noise and occasionally moving mechanical parts and hazardous equipment.
Physical Demands Standing up to 8 hours per day; frequent walking reaching handling tools and balancing. Regularly lifting/moving up to 10 lbs; frequent lifting up to 25 lbs; occasional lifting up to 45 lbs. Occasional sitting stooping kneeling crouching and crawling. Must have appropriate vision abilities including depth perception focus adjustment and color differentiation.
