Job Summary
Job Title:Building Maintenance Technician
Location: Middle River MD
Overview
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support daily facility operations and ensure a safe clean and fully functional environment. This hands-on role involves performing general maintenance inspections and repairs across building systems and equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general facility maintenance inspections and repairs
- Troubleshoot and complete work across carpentry plumbing electrical and HVAC systems
- Repair walls floors doors ceilings and complete painting/touch-ups
- Maintain preventative maintenance schedules (fire extinguishers emergency lighting inspections etc.)
- Coordinate and oversee subcontractors on-site
- Complete corrective maintenance work orders in a timely manner
- Operate lawn care and snow removal equipment seasonally
- Assist with additional maintenance projects as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 35 years of hands-on facility maintenance experience
- Strong skills in plumbing minor electrical HVAC support and general repairs
- Valid U.S. drivers license
- U.S. citizenship required
- Basic computer skills for reporting and communication
- Strong customer service and communication abilities
Skills & Requirements
- Ability to read and interpret safety and maintenance documents
- Experience maintaining HVAC systems (filter changes coil cleaning basic support)
- Ability to troubleshoot minor electrical systems (lights outlets switches)
- Strong plumbing repair experience (toilets urinals valves sensors)
- Organized and able to maintain maintenance records and reports
