Job Summary
Job Title: Construction Laborer
Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Construction Laborer to support daily operations on active construction sites. This role is essential to keeping projects running safely efficiently and on schedule. The ideal candidate is physically capable safety-minded and willing to assist skilled tradespeople with a variety of tasks across residential commercial and industrial projects.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and maintain clean organized and safe construction sites
Load unload and transport materials tools and equipment
Assist with setting up and dismantling scaffolding and temporary structures
Operate basic construction equipment and machinery as directed
Follow all safety guidelines policies and supervisor instructions
Support skilled tradespeople (carpenters electricians plumbers etc.) with job-specific tasks
Inspect and test tools and equipment to ensure proper functionality
Must-Have Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
Ability to perform physically demanding work including heavy lifting
Basic understanding of construction site safety practices
Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
Reliable attendance and punctuality
Preferred Qualifications
Previous construction or labor experience
Familiarity with hand tools and power tools
Ability to read and interpret basic construction plans or blueprints
Willingness to learn new skills and assist in multiple trades
Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
Work Environment
This position requires working outdoors and on active construction sites. Conditions may vary and include exposure to weather noise and physically demanding tasks. Teamwork and strict adherence to safety regulations are essential.
