Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform building maintenance dutiesand specific tasks such as repairing conveyors gearboxes or hydraulic systemsas assigned bythesupervisor
- Preventive maintenance and repairs on the mechanical electrical hydraulicand pneumatic systems.
- Troubleshotmachinery quickly and effectively
- Preventivemaintenance and repairs to Rendering equipmentsuch as conveyors gearboxes augers and pumps
- Complete all tasks in the safest and most efficient manner
- Be experienced and knowledgeable in high-speed manufacturing and packaging equipment including hydraulics pneumatics pumps valves cylinders case formers labeling equipment fillers and conveyors. Knowledge of welding (S/S Mig Tig) is a plus. Your skills will directly support efficient production and quality standards.
- Day-to-day maintenance and repair ofequipment.
- Perform Labeling and Tagging of systems and/or checks for verifications
- Troubleshoot and repairhigh-speedfood processing and packaging equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical problems on production equipment
- Comply with all safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
- Support and manage all computer/network componentsincluding servers switches cablingand desktop systems at assigned locations
- Program Cisco Switches for Local Area Network
- Document Local Area Network at assigned location(s)
- Document and maintain Standard Operating Procedures forsite-specifictechnologies in use at the facility.
- Fundamental understanding of VLANS
- Work with end users and propose new hardware and software solutions to support the business.
- Test all hardware and software modifications before they are introduced into production.
- Provide hardware and software diagnostics for network hardwareand software issues.
- Manage technology projects in compliance with IT standards
- Provide hardware and network support for Production Floor computer systems.
- Supporting all printer functions at assigned locations
- Perform related tasks as requiredData Maintenance
Qualifications
- Climbing including ladders lifting working with a variety of hand and power tools shop machinesand tools.
- Previous maintenance experience with(Preferred)
- 480 Volts
- Control Circuitry
- PLC
- Electrical
- Multi Meter
- IT/Data Maintenance/PC Maintenance
Work Environment
The work environment may include cold and/or hot temperatures.
