July 3 2026 to July 27 2026 - 8:00 am to 1:00 pm

Position Summary:

The Summer Literacy Camp Coordinator will monitor programming for students in the Summer Literacy Camp support the summer literacy camp teachers organize and deliver materials at the start and end of the summer communicate and act as a liaison with the Summer School Administrators.

Qualifications:
In order to be considered for this position you must hold the Basic Qualifications noted below at the time of application:

Basic: Primary and Junior Divisions
Experience: Five (5) years teaching experience or equivalent
Other: Previous experience as a Summer Literacy Camp Teacher (preferred)

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Summer Literacy Camp Coordinator will actively monitor programming at the summer literacy camp sites support the camp teachers as needed manage collaboration opportunities for camp staff organize and deliver the materials to the sites participate in planning activities before program begins (understanding there are some responsibilities before and after camp starts) ensure regular communication with families ensure dailyattendance and attendance records are up-to-date support ongoing assessment and flexible programming supporting students needs is happening; and communicate and work with the Summer School Administrators as required/needed.
