DESCRIPTION:
Join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific where youll help shape the future of scientific innovation. As a Developer III youll design develop and maintain critical applications and systems that enable our customers to make the world healthier cleaner and safer. Youll work with cross-functional teams to deliver robust technical solutions from cloud-native applications to enterprise integrations. This role offers the opportunity to work with advanced technologies while making meaningful contributions to scientific advancement and healthcare innovation.
Key Responsibilities
Design develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine data requirements and deliver outstanding solutions
Ensure data integrity and flawless performance of data systems
Develop and implement data models and algorithms to optimize data processing
Perform data analysis to support business needs and drive decision-making
Monitor data system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise
Requirements
Proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role
Over 6 years in industry with 3 years as a data engineer in Supply Chain business.
Strong knowledge of SQL Python and data warehousing solutions (Especially Databricks)
Expertise in data integration data quality and data governance
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS Azure or Google Cloud
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively
