DESCRIPTION:
Join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific where youll help shape the future of scientific innovation. As a Developer III youll design develop and maintain critical applications and systems that enable our customers to make the world healthier cleaner and safer. Youll work with cross-functional teams to deliver robust technical solutions from cloud-native applications to enterprise integrations. This role offers the opportunity to work with advanced technologies while making meaningful contributions to scientific advancement and healthcare innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine data requirements and deliver outstanding solutions

  • Ensure data integrity and flawless performance of data systems

  • Develop and implement data models and algorithms to optimize data processing

  • Perform data analysis to support business needs and drive decision-making

  • Monitor data system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role

  • Over 6 years in industry with 3 years as a data engineer in Supply Chain business.

  • Strong knowledge of SQL Python and data warehousing solutions (Especially Databricks)

  • Expertise in data integration data quality and data governance

  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS Azure or Google Cloud

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively
